Amb. Bishop Sam Owusu and the members of International Association of World Peace Advocates, Iawpa ghana, the executives of Africa Union Agenda 2063 Ambassadorial Assembly paid a Courtesy call on the Speaker of Parliament, Right Hon. Alban Kingsford Sumana Bagbin and the Clark of Parliament
to firstly congratulae for his amiable, peaceful and ex excellent leadership of the 8th and 9th parliament and also on Discuss Peace Advocacy Initiatives just after his induction as the Newly Appointed Africa Union Agenda 2063 Ambassadorial Assembly special Envoy.
The meeting focused on discussing ways to implement systems that would enhance Ghana’s Peace advocacy for development
During the meeting, Amb. Bishop Owusu and the Speaker explored potential initiatives to strengthen peace advocacy, including community engagement, and interfaith dialogue, National Peace Advocacy Dialogue, National Peace And Tolerance index Award, peace Education, and Peace Advocate financial support systems to help maintain peace development in the country.



They also discussed opportunities for collaboration between Parliament, civil society organizations, and faith-based groups to promote peace and stability.
The Speaker expressed his appreciation for Amb. Bishop Owusu’s commitment to peace advocacy and emphasized the importance of working together to address conflicts and promote peace in Ghana.
Amb. Bishop Owusu highlighted the need for a multi-faceted approach to peace advocacy, involving various stakeholders and sectors of society.
The meeting concluded with a commitment to follow up on the discussions and explore ways to implement peace building systems in Ghana.
