MP for North Tongu, Hon Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has called on the president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, to immediately stop the payment of $34m ambulance spare parts deal to Service Ghana Auto Group Limited.

According to him, the deal with the company is a bad one and does not warrant any payment.

Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, accused former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta and former Health Minister Kwaku Agyeman-Manu of conspiring with Service Ghana Auto Group Limited to swindle the state in the botched deal.

Ablakwa alleged that Ofori-Atta approved the deal just five days before leaving office.

He indicated that the companies under Service Ghana Auto Group Limited does not have the ability to deliver.

Hon. Okudzeto Ablakwa also called on the Chief of staff, Maame Frema Osei Opare from mounting pressure on the Finance minister to make payments to Service Ghana Auto Group Limited .

Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has also urged the Office of the Special Prosecutor to act with the speed of light to investigate the ambulance spare parts deal brought before them.
