The president and CEO of Afro-Arab Microfinance, a significant division of the Afro-Arab Group of Companies, Alhaji Salamu Amadu, has won the prestigious Ghana CEO Awards’ Best CEO of the Year title in the Microfinance sector.

The elite of Ghana’s business community came together for the event, which took place on Friday, July 26, 2024, at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel in Accra.

Ambassador Amadu’s steadfast dedication to using calculated financial measures to empower women and youth in Zongo communities is well acknowledged by this honor.

Afro-Arab Microfinance has grown to be a lifeline for many would-be company owners under his direction, giving them the capital they need to launch profitable ventures and enhance their standard of living.

In addition to promoting economic expansion, his initiatives have assisted in lowering poverty in some of the most neglected regions of the nation.

The theme of the third Ghana CEO Awards, “CEOs for Climate: Steering towards a Greener Future,” reflected the increasing focus on environmentally friendly corporate practices.

The leaders who have championed environmental stewardship and made significant contributions to their respective industries were recognized with awards.

In his acceptance address, Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu conveyed his sincere gratitude to Globe Productions, led by Latif Abubakar, the organizers, for the honor.

“I am truly honored to receive this award, It is evidence of the diligence and commitment of our staff at Afro-Arab Microfinance. We will keep assisting the women and children in Zongo communities in realizing their aspirations. We are still here to help anyone who wants to become financially empowered,” he declared.
