Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, has fulfilled his promise to the Ghana School of Law by donating a state-of-the-art public address system.
This generous gesture aims to enhance the educational infrastructure of legal institutions and support the development of future legal professionals.
During the matriculation ceremony in February, Speaker Bagbin noted the poor state of infrastructure at the school and expressed his disappointment that successive governments had not done enough to address this issue. Despite this, the school continues to produce exceptional graduates who contribute significantly to national development.
Speaker Bagbin urged old students to support their alma mater, emphasizing the importance of giving back to the institution that shaped their careers. The Director of the Ghana School of Law, Barima Yaw Kodei Oppong, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Speaker Bagbin for his donation, which includes advanced speakers and an integrated control system. This will significantly improve the auditory quality in lecture halls and during important events.
This donation is part of Speaker Bagbin’s broader initiative to support educational institutions nationwide. Over the past year, he has made numerous contributions to schools and institutions of higher learning, demonstrating his belief in the transformative power of education.
The public address system will enhance the learning experience and provide future legal professionals with the necessary tools to excel. The Ghana School of Law and its students are grateful for Speaker Bagbin’s support, and his generosity serves as an inspiration to others to give back to their communities.
