Member of Parliament for Atiwa East Constituency in the Eastern Region, Abena Osei Asare has advised Ghanaians to vote for a modest and intellectual leader in the upcoming December 7 elections.
According to her, the 2024 election will define the future of the youth; therefore, it is critical to place the country in the hands of a visionary leader such as Vice President and Flagbearer of the New Patriot Party (NPP), Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia.
The Minister of State in charge of Finance continued that the NPP leadership had chosen Dr. Bawumia to lead them in the 2024 election.
She was confident that, for the benefit of their future and the next generation, Ghanaian youth would overwhelmingly elect him as the country’s next president.
According to the lawmaker from Atiwa East, Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia stands out among the presidential candidates because he cares deeply about the welfare of young people. This is demonstrated by his pledge to create one million jobs through digital skill training, allowing people to work from home.
During the sod-cutting ceremony for the construction of an AstroTurf with auxiliary facilities at Asamang Tamfoe, Abena Osei disclosed this information. The project is anticipated to be finished in four months.
Asamang Tamfoe Presbyterian D/A JHS’s roofing and painting are part of the project.
She pointed out that the NPP government had built over 100 AstroTurfs in an effort to develop football talent.
Asamang Tamfoehene, Osaberima Kwame Okoh, thanked the MP for making sure the community benefits from the AstroTurf projects as well.
The traditional ruler expressed confidence that, once finished, the AstroTurf would help produce many professional football players from Asamang Tamfoe.
