The Nungua Traditional Council has issued a summons to former celebrity couple, Samuel Adu Frimpong (Medikal) and Fella Makafui, to appear before them on Friday, May 24, 2024.
The invitation comes amid a dispute over a land document that has been circulating on social media.
In separate letters signed by Rev. Dr. Gyasi Ankrah, Director of Administration at the Office of the Gborbu Wulomo-Shitse, the couple has been asked to bring all relevant documentation for verification purposes.
This development comes weeks after Medikal publicly announced their divorce on social media, where he also revealed that they had decided to continue living together to co-parent their child. However, this arrangement has led to further complications, including a request from Medikal for Fella to evict her cousin from the house.
Furthermore, Fella has filed a petition with the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) to investigate Medikal over some statements he made on social media. The ownership of the house they reside in has become a contentious issue, with documents related to the property being leaked online.
The Nungua Traditional Council’s intervention may be aimed at resolving the dispute and promoting peace between the former couple.
