After being denied entry in 2022 and 2023, Elorm Ababio, popularly known as Ama Governor, has finally been called to the Ghana Bar.

The Ghana School of Law announced this on their notice board on May 21, 2024. She’s one of 181 individuals qualified to be called to the bar on May 31, 2024. However, the General Legal Council may make changes to the list as needed.

Ama Governor made headlines in 2022 and 2023 when she was denied entry due to “conduct unbecoming of an applicant.” This sparked a public debate, with many questioning the reason behind the refusal. While some supported the General Legal Council’s decision, they faced backlash from social media users and Ama Governor’s fans.

After a long legal battle, she has finally got the chance to practice her dream profession as a lawyer. The news has been met with excitement on social media, with fans eagerly awaiting her induction on May 31.
