Roman Fada files nomination to lead GFP
Radio presenter Philip Appiah Kubi, better known as Roman Fada, has successfully filed his nomination to contest as presidential candidate of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP) ahead of the December 7 polls.
Roman Fada and executives of the GFP stormed the EC this afternoon to file the nomination. The filing of Roman Fada’s nomination follows the demise of Akua Donkor, the founder and flagbearer of GFP.
Meanwhile, Roman Fada has revealed that his vice presidential candidate for this year’s election will be a female.
Mr. Appiah-Kubi’s nomination as the party’s presidential candidate comes after the sudden demise of Madam Akua Donkor.
Speaking to Ekow Budu Sam on Atinka FM’s Morning Show, AM Drive, the young politician who is also a staff member of Atinka Media Village, expressed his gloom over the death of his former boss,but pledged to hold the fort in her absence as the election approaches speedily.
When asked by the host about his prospective running mate, he shied away from mentioning a specific name but assured that it will definitely be a woman.
“I will not mention any name for now,but rest assured that my running mate will be a female. It’s sad that our founder and leader is no more,but I’ve agreed to take up the mantle. I will announce my running mate very soon”,he said.
